The Transition to Specialty Practice (Mental Health) Program based at the Royal Children’s Hospital – Banksia Ward, provides Enrolled Nurses with the opportunity to develop required knowledge, skills and attitude to transition from general nursing to mental health speciality practice. The program will support a maximum of 150 nurses Australia wide, who have recently transitioned to primary health care.
